Transport Dept. employees probably to protest again

Bengaluru, June 23, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The Transport Department employees who had protested against the State Government demanding to fulfill their various demands a few months ago may start their protest again criticizing the government for not fulfilling all their demands.
Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation Employees Federation Honorary President Kodihalli Chandrashekar has given a clue about the protest. “We had protested for 15 days last year. The State Government had given us written assurance, but has not fulfilled our demands,” he said.
“The staff who had taken part in the protest have been transferred and a few of them have been suspended. Hence, we demand the government to reinstate all the employees who have been suspended and we also demanded that the government should implement the 6th pay commission at any cost. It should also pay the pending salaries to the staff, or else we will protest again,” he has warned.
Further, he informed that a meeting would be held on July 1 and plans will be made to protest and date will be fixed.
