ಸಿಇಸಿ, ನವ ದೆಹಲಿ ಯುಜಿಸಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ೧೯೯೧ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವಂತಹ ಒಂದು ಸ್ವಾಯತ್ತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಉದ್ಯೋನ್ಮುಖ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಸಂವಹನಾ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ (ಐಸಿಟಿ) ಸೂಕ್ತ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ದೂರದರ್ಶನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಅಗತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವುದು ಸಿಇಸಿಯ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

Mysuru, May 21, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore has been nominated as a Member of Governing Board of the Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), New Delhi, in the category of Vice-Chancellors of Universities having Media Centres.
The CEC, New Delhi, is an autonomous institution set by the UGC in the year 1991. The objectives of CEC is to address the needs of higher education through the use of Television, along with appropriate use of emerging Information Communication Technology (ICT).
