Forest Dept. officials rescue elephant which was stuck in railway track

Mysuru, Jan. 22, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Forest Department staff have rescued an elephant, which got stuck in a railway track, in N. Begur forest limits in Saragur Taluk of Mysuru District.Protection - elephant –caught-n railway railing-mysore
The elephant, which whisked out of the N.Begur forest area, got its leg stuck in the railway track while returning to its habitat. Learning about the incident, N. Begur forest staff arrived at the spot and rescued the elephant by cutting open the railway track.
Environmentalists and wildlife lovers have appreciated the timely action of the staff.
