ಮೈಸೂರು, ಮೇ,5, 2026 (www.justkannada.in): ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ವಿತರಣಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವುದರ ಜತೆಗೆ ಆದಾಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಪ್ರವೃತ್ತರಾಗುವಂತೆ ಇಂಧನ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಅಪರ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಗೌರವ್ ಗುಪ್ತ ಅವರು ಚಾಮುಂಡೇಶ್ವರಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸರಬರಾಜು ನಿಗಮ ನಿಯಮಿತ(ಸೆಸ್ಕ್) ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. 
ನಗರದ ಹೊರವಲಯದ ಕಡಕೋಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೆಇಬಿ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಗಳ ಸಂಘದ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ ನಡೆದನ ಚಾಮುಂಡೇಶ್ವರಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸರಬರಾಜು ನಿಗಮ ನಿಯಮಿತದ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌರವ್ ಗುಪ್ತ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
“ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ವಿತರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏರಿಕೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂದರೆ ಆದಾಯವೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು, ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೆ ಅಡಚಣೆರಹಿತ ವಿದ್ಯುತ ಪೂರೈಕೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಜತೆಗೆ, ಕಂದಾಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದ ಮೇಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಗಮನಹರಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಗಂಗಾ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಯೋಜನೆ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಳಂಬ ಆಗದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಪೂರೈಕೆಗೂ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಆಗದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರವಹಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ ಎಂದ ಅವರು, ವಿಭಾಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಪ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ನೈಜ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಅರಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ಎಂದು ಸೆಸ್ಕ್ ಎಂಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸೆಸ್ಕ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಎಂ.ಎಸ್. ಅರ್ಚನಾ ಅವರು, “ಕುಸುಮ್-ಬಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ನಿಧಾನ ಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕುಸುಮ್-ಸಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಭೂಮಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕೆಲವು ರೈತರು ನಿಗದಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಲೀಸ್(ಭೋಗ್ಯ) ಮೊತ್ತ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಜಿ. ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀಕಾಂತ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಸೆಸ್ಕ್ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶರಣಮ್ಮ ಜಂಗಿನ, ಸೆಸ್ಕ್ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಎಲ್. ಲೋಕೇಶ್ ಇತರರಿದ್ದರು.

ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಕಡಕೋಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಪಿಟಿಸಿಎಲ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ 400 ಕೆವಿ ಉಪ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಗೌರವ್ ಗುಪ್ತ ಅವರು, ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಯ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಕೆಪಿಟಿಸಿಎಲ್ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಕುರಿತು ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಕಡಕೋಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ 400 ಕೆವಿ ಉಪ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ನಿಗದಿತ ವೇಳೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿದ್ದು, ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಟೆಂಡರ್ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಏಜೆನ್ಸಿ ಅವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕ್ರಮವವಹಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಕೆಪಿಟಿಸಿಎಲ್ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕೆ 18 ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದ್ದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ, ಖಾಸಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಕೆಪಿಟಿಸಿಎಲ್ ಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರವಹಿಸಿದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀಕಾಂತ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಅವರ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದ ಗೌರವ್ ಗುಪ್ತ ಅವರು, 400 ಕೆವಿ ಉಪ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಸರಣ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಡಚಣೆಯಾದರೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ ಸಹಕಾರ ಪಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಕೆಪಿಟಿಸಿಎಲ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಪಿಟಿಸಿಎಲ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು(ಯೋಜನೆ) ಗಿರಿಧರ್ ಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ, ಅಧೀಕ್ಷಕ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ರಮೇಶ್ ಇತರರಿದ್ದರು.

Boost CESC Revenue, Strengthen Power Distribution: Additional Chief Secretary Energy Department Gaurav Gupta
* Progress review meeting of CESC and KPTCL
Mysuru, May 4, 2026: Additional Chief Secretary of the Energy Department, Gaurav Gupta, today directed officials of Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC) to intensify efforts toward strengthening the power distribution network while simultaneously enhancing revenue collection.
He was speaking at the progress review meeting of CESC held today at the KEB Engineers’ Association Hall at Kadakola, on the outskirts of the city.
He said, “If there is an increase in power distribution, revenue should also increase accordingly. Therefore, along with successfully implementing government schemes and ensuring uninterrupted power supply to consumers, greater attention must be given to revenue collection. There should be no delay in the implementation of the Ganga Kalyana scheme. Care must also be taken to ensure there are no disruptions to drinking water supply.” He further advised the CESC Managing Director to visit divisions and sub-divisions to understand the ground reality.
Earlier, CESC Managing Director M.S. Archana said, “The Kusum-B scheme is progressing slowly. Under the Kusum-C scheme, land has been identified in some places by the Agriculture Department, but progress has been slow as some farmers are demanding lease amounts higher than the prescribed rates.”
District Collector G. Lakshmikant Reddy, CESC Technical Director Sharanamma Jangin, Chief Engineer L. Lokesh, and others were present at the meeting.
Inspection of 400 kV Substation
Earlier, Gaurav Gupta visited the 400 kV substation being constructed by KPTCL at Kadakola and reviewed the progress of the work. Later, during a meeting on KPTCL project progress, he stated that the substation must be completed within the stipulated timeframe and directed officials and the contracting agency to take necessary measures to ensure this.
He also appreciated District Collector Lakshmikant Reddy for playing a key role in handing over the required government and private land at 18 locations for KPTCL projects. He instructed KPTCL officials to seek support from the district administration and police department in case of any obstacles in the construction of the 400 kV substation and associated transmission lines.
KPTCL Director (Projects) Giridhar Kulkarni, Superintending Engineer Ramesh, and others were present on the occasion.
