Students are very happy to come to schools: CM Bommai says after visiting College

Bengaluru, August 23, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Schools from ninth standard to 12th standards started working from today across the state even amidst the fear of COVID-19 Pandemic 3rd wave. The classes commenced at 9.10 am today. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai visited a college to wish the students.
The visited a college located at the 18th cross in Malleswaram, where he planted a sapling. He was accompanied by Education Minister B.C. Nagesh and Higher Education Minister Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayana.
The ministers checked the precautionary measures taken at the college and also visited the classrooms.
Speaking later the Chief Minister explained that the schools were closed since the last one year. However the teachers were in contact with the students through online programs. However the schools and colleges have started working following improvement in the pandemic.
He also observed that the students were happy about the offline classes and informed that many of them thanked the government for allowing the schools to start.
