ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜುಲೈ ೧, ೨೦೨೧ (www.justkannada.in news ) : ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪರಿಸರ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗ, ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಸೋಷಿಯಲ್ ಅಂಡ ಎಕನಾಮಿಕಲ್ ಚೇಂಜಸ್ (ಐಸೆಕ್) ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾಳೆ (ಜುಲೈ 2) ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವೆಬಿನಾರ್ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ೧೦.೦೦ ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ೧.೩೦ರವರೆಗೆ, “Climate Change – Ecological Restoration and Scoio-Ecological Sustainability” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವೆಬಿನಾರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ವೆಬಿನಾರ್ ಅನ್ನು, “Climate Smart Livelihood and Socio-Ecological Development of Biodiversity Hotspots of India” ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರೊ. ಎಸ್.ಶ್ರೀಕಂಠಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಡಾ.ಸುನೀಲ್ ನೌಟಿಯಾಲ್ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿ ಇನ್‌ಫರ್ಮೇಷನ್, ಫೋರ್‌ಕ್ಯಾಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಅಸೆಸ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ (TIFAC), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, ನವ ದೆಹಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಿಸಿದೆ.

Mysuru, July 1, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Mysore, in association with the Centre for Ecological Economics and Natural Resources (CEENR), Institute of Social and Economical Changes (ISEC), Bengaluru, has organized a National Webinar on the topic, “Climate Change – Ecological Restoration and Socio-Ecological Sustainability,” on July 2, 2021, from 10.00 am to 1.30 pm.
The webinar is organized under the research project “Climate Smart Livelihood and Socio-Ecological Development of Biodiversity Hotspots of India,” sponsored by the Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), DST, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, will preside. Prof. K.S. Rangappa, the Former Vice-Chancellor of, University of Mysore, will deliver the inaugural address. Prof. Pramod Kumar, Director (Incharge), ISEC, Bengaluru will be the chief guest.
