Teacher Ranjith Singh who taught in Kannada earns Rs. 7.32 crore global prize

The award is being given by the Work Foundation. The award comprises a sum of Rs.10 lakh dollars (about Rs.7.37 crore) cash prize. Disaale has informed, that he would share half of the amount that he has won with the 10 candidates who were selected for the final round. This is the first time in the history of the Global Teacher Award presentation, where a winner is sharing the prize money.
