Please follow HC, SC directions: CM Bommai directs to remove illegal loudspeakers

Bengaluru, May 9, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today organized a meeting with the police officials to discuss the Hanuman Chalisa recital by several Hindu outfits in response to the Azan in Karnataka.
Home Minister Araga Jnanendra, DG and IGP Praveen Sood, and other higher officials participated in the meeting that was held for 45 minutes.
The Chief Minister urged that irrespective of Hindus and Muslims, everyone should respect the Hon’ble Supreme Court and High Court orders. “The court orders are applicable to even public programs. The decibels should not cross the limits as mentioned by the Hon’ble Supreme Court,” he said and instructed the police officials to remove illegal loudspeakers.
