No entry for A. Manju to Congress party – Siddaramaiah

Mysuru, November 27, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Rumors are making rounds that former Minister A. Manju, who had migrated to the BJP during the last Lok Sabha elections is planning to return to the Congress party. However, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has clarified that A. Manju is not returning to the party. “He has not asked us that he would return to the Congress, even if he intends we won’t allow him,” he said.
Speaking at Mysuru about the legislative council elections in Mysuru today, the leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah informed that the Congress party has not allied with any party in any constituency. “We have informed all our supporters to put single vote. The BJP-JDS has allied the screen. Not only now, but they also had a nexus even during the byelections,” he alleged.
“In Belagavi, the BJP has fielded Lakhan Jarkiholi. However, our party workers are doing their work. Lakhan Jarkiholi was in the BJP itself. Hence, if there is any confusion, it should be in the BJP. There is a direct fight between Congress and the BJP in Kodagu. Last time we had lost from a thin margin. However, we are making all efforts to register a victory there,” he said.
