ಮೈಸೂರು,ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್,30,2020(www.justkannada.in):  ಮತ ಎಣಿಕೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಹೃದಯಘಾತವಾಗಿ ಚುನಾವಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಪಿರಿಯಾಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.

ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಪಿರಿಯಾಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪುಷ್ಪ ಕಾನ್ವೆಂಟ್ ಮತ ಎಣಿಕಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಬೋರೆಗೌಡ(52) ಮೃತ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ. ಲೋಕೋಪಯೋಗಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಎಇಇ ಆಗಿದ್ಧ ಬೋರೆಗೌಡ ಎನ್.ಶೆಟ್ಟಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

ಪಿರಿಯಾಪಟ್ಟಣ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಮತ ಎಣಿಕೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಬೋರೆಗೌಡರಿಗೆ ಹೃದಯಾಘಾತವಾಗಿದೆ.  ಮೊದಲು ಎದೆ ನೋವು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೋರೆಗೌಡರನ್ನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ರವಾನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಮುಂದಾದಾಗ, ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಸಾಗಿಸುವ ಮಾರ್ಗಮಧ್ಯೆದಲ್ಲೇ ಬೋರೆಗೌಡ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Election officer on duty succumbs to heart attack
Mysuru, Dec. 30, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): An officer on election duty suffered a heart attack while at work and died.
The incident took place at the Pushpa Convent counting center in Periyapatna, Mysuru District. The deceased is identified as Boregowda (52). He was serving as AEE in the Public Works Department and was posted as election officer of N. Shettahalli Gram Panchayat.
He complained of chest pain while the counting process was on. However, he succumbed while he was being taken to the hospital.
