Bengaluru, September 30, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has locked the reputed Mantri Mall building as its property taxes is not paid up to date.
BBMP Joint Commissioner Shivaswamy today locked the Mantri Mall located in Malleswaram in Bengaluru. The Mantri Mall management owes Rs.27 crore property tax since 2017.
Notices were also issued earlier asking the management to pay property tax, but it was not paid, following which it is locked. The BBMP marshals were found to be sending the visitors back.
