Actor Darshan Allowed Medical Treatment in Jail

Short Description
Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, a key accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, has been granted permission by a Bengaluru court to receive medical treatment and physiotherapy inside jail. Facing chronic spine issues, Darshan's legal team secured the order for jailhouse care despite strong objections from the prosecution, who highlighted his previous failure to undergo surgery while out on interim medical bail. Following the Supreme Court's cancellation of his earlier bail over witness tampering risks, the high-profile actor remains in judicial custody. This latest court ruling ensures he receives essential health support directly within the prison facilities as the trial continues.
