ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಆಗಸ್ಟ್,7,2026 (www.justkannada.in): ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೆರಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಡ್-ಶೋ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ದೇಶದ ಕಾನ್ಸುಲೇಟ್ ಜನರಲ್ ಕಚೇರಿಯು ಅಗತ್ಯ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಲಿದೆ. ಜತೆಗೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷದ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಲಿರುವ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರರ ಸಮಾವೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅಮೆರಿಕವನ್ನೂ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಬೃಹತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಭೇಟಿಯಾದ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಕಾನ್ಸುಲೇಟ್ ಜನರಲ್ ಮರಿಯಾನ ಎಲ್ ನೀಸ್ಲರ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವರು ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ಮಾತುಕತೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮತ್ತು ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ನಡುವಿನ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಸಹಯೋಗದ ಬಲವರ್ಧನೆಗೆ ನಾವೀಗ ಒತ್ತು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಾನ್ಸುಲೇಟ್ ಜನರಲ್ ಕಚೇರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯವಹರಿಸಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಸಾಂಸ್ಥಿಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಾಗುವುದು. ಇದು ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಅಮ್ಚಮ್, ಮತ್ತು ಅಮೆರಿಕ-ಭಾರತ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಸಮಿತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯವಹರಿಸಲಿದೆ. ಇದು ಇನ್ವೆಸ್ಟ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ 700 ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನಮ್ಮ ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇದು ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಯಾರಿಕೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಪರಿಸರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ದೇಶವು ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಕಾನ್ಸುಲೇಟ್ ಕಚೇರಿಯು 2025ರ ಜನವರಿಯಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಅಮೆರಿಕದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಸೆಮಿಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಸಾಧನಗಳು, ಏರೋಸ್ಪೇಸ್, ರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವೆ, ಶುದ್ಧ ಇಂಧನ ಮತ್ತು ಜಿಸಿಸಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಚನಾತ್ಮಕ ಸಹಯೋಗ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ದೇಶದ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನವೋದ್ಯಮ, ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ವಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಹಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳಿವೆ. ಇದರ ಜತೆಗೆ ಇ.ಎಸ್.ಡಿ.ಎಂ, ಚಿಪ್ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸ, ಮೆಡ್-ಟೆಕ್, ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್ ಬಿಡಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಬಾಗಿಲು ತೆರೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Karnataka to Hold Investment Roadshow in the United States in October: M.B. Patil
Bengaluru: Karnataka will hold an investment roadshow in the United States in October to attract greater investments to the State, and the U.S. Consulate General will extend the necessary support for the initiative, Karnataka’s Minister for Large and Medium Industries M.B. Patil said on Friday. He also said the United States would be invited to participate in the Global Investors Meet 2027, proposed to be held in April next year.
The Minister held detailed discussions on investment opportunities and bilateral cooperation with Ms Mariana L. Neisuler, Consul General, Consulate General of the United States of America, who met him here.
Speaking after the meeting, Patil said the State Government is placing renewed emphasis on strengthening Karnataka’s economic and trade partnership with the United States. To facilitate this, Karnataka will establish a dedicated institutional engagement mechanism with the U.S. Consulate General, the U.S. Commercial Service, the American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM) and the U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC). The mechanism will facilitate investor leads, delegation planning, sector-specific follow-up and investment facilitation through Invest Karnataka, he said.
Patil said nearly 700 U.S. companies and start-ups are currently operating in Karnataka, making a significant contribution to the State’s economy. Their presence reflects the confidence of American businesses in Karnataka’s talent, technology, innovation and manufacturing ecosystem. He added that the establishment of the U.S. Consulate General in Bengaluru in January 2025 marked a significant milestone in the growing Karnataka–United States economic partnership.
The Minister said Karnataka already enjoys strong collaboration with the United States in research and development, semiconductor equipment, aerospace, defence, healthcare, clean energy and Global Capability Centres (GCCs). As India’s technology capital, Bengaluru offers immense opportunities for deeper collaboration in innovation, research, advanced manufacturing and emerging technologies. He added that the State also presents significant opportunities for partnerships in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), semiconductor chip design, medical technology (MedTech) and electronics components manufacturing.
