bangalore,dec,17,2020(www.justkannada.in) Alleging that 1,200 farmers had lost land from the Tungabhadra river water flowing project, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has written a letter to Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, requesting him to stop the project and return the land is acquired, to the farmers.
About 1,200 farmers have lost their land due to the Tungabhadra river water project from Rattihalli in Haveri District to Shikaripura. Siddaramaiah, in his tweet, has requested B.S. Yeddyurappa to stop the project immediately and return the land to the farmers.
