Seven people die in house collapse: CM announces Rs. 5 lakh compensation for each deceased

Mysuru, October 7,2021 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has expressed his grief over the incident of a house collapse resulting in the death of seven persons of the same family, at Badagala Ankalagi in Belagavi Taluk.
The Chief Minister has announced a sum of Rs. 5 lakh compensation each to the kith of the deceased persons. The Chief Minister spoke to the Belagavi District In-charge Minister Govind Karajola over the phone regarding the incident and advised him to visit the place and undertake necessary measures.
Only one person named Bheemappa has survived the incident. Bheemappa is also one among the family of the deceased. The Chief Minister also spoke to him over the phone, and assured him that the government is with him. He has informed that he has spoken to the District Administration about the incident has asked to undertake all necessary measures for the cremation of the deceased persons. “I will ensure that the compensation amount is released immediately. Please don’t lose heart, the government will do whatever you need,” he assured the lone survivor Bheemappa.
