73rd Death Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi today: Obeisance across the nation through one-minute silence

New Delhi, Jan. 30, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The nation is observing the 73rd death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. President of India Sri Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other dignitaries offered their obeisance to the Father of the Nation.

“I offer my respects to Bapu on his death anniversary. His guidance, ethics are an inspiration for lakhs of people. Today is the day where we all should remember and offer our respect to all the freedom fighters.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A two-minute silence was observed in all the government offices across the country as a token of respect to Mahatma Gandhi today. The dignitaries including, President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and others, visited Rajgath and offered floral tributes to the samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi.
