Saboteur kills elderly couple after attacking pregnant wife

Mysuru, December 2,2021 (www.juskannada.in): In a gruesome incident, a person has killed an elderly couple in a fit of rage against their son.
The incident has taken place in Naviluru Village in Nanjangud Taluk. The person is identified as Eeraiah, alias Kunda. The deceased couple is identified as Ningamma (50), and Madaiah (60). The couple was the criminal’s neighbours. Eeraiah who was said to be under the influence of alcohol also has attacked his pregnant wife injuring her grievously. He also tried to attack several others by brandishing a sword in his hand.
Eeraiah was earlier jailed as he had killed his first wife. He was out of jail. He attacked his second wife Mahadevamma under the influence of alcohol. In the melee, he killed Mahadevamma’s parents. The condition of three others Gowramma, Suresha, alias Koosu and Mahadevamma is also said to be serious.
The Nanjgud police have taken Eeraiah into custody. Mysuru SP R. Chetan, DySP Govindraj, Circle Inspector Lakhsmikanth Talawar, Inspector Shivananjashetty visited the spot and investigated.
