ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜ.06, 2022 : (www.justkannada.in news ) ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾನಸ ಗಂಗೋತ್ರಿಯ ಜೆನೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಜೀನೋಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಳೆ ( ಜ.7) ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
‘ಆ್ಯಂಟಿಜೆನಿಕ್ ವೇರಿಯೇಶನ್ ಇನ್ ಸಾರ್ಸ್-ಕೋವ್-2 ಅಂಡ್ ವ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿನ್’ ಎಸ್ಕೇಪ್ ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಮಾನಸ ಗಂಗೋತ್ರಿಯ ಇನ್ಸಿಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆ್ ಎಕ್ಸೆಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಆಡಿಟೋರಿಯಂ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ವೈದ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್.ಬಸವರಾಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಜೆನೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಜೀನೋಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ ಪ್ರೊ.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಮಾಲಿನಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಚರ್ಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ.ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಕೆ.ಪಿ, ಡಾ.ಚೈತ್ರಾ ಪಿ.ಟಿ., ಡಾ.ಸೋಮಣ್ಣ ಎ,ಎನ್., ಕೌಶಿಕ್ ಪೊನ್ನಣ್ಣ ಸಿ.ಎಸ್., ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಕೆ. ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Lecture on ‘Antigen Variation in SARS’ at UoM tomorrow
Mysuru, January 6, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The Genetics and Genomics and Zoology Departments have jointly organized a lecture program on ‘Antigen Variation in SARS COV-2 and Vaccine Escape,’ on January 7, 2022, Friday.
The lecture program will be held at the Institute of Excellence Auditorium, in Manasagangotri campus.
Prof. G. Hemanthkumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, Chief Medical Officer Dr. M.S. Basavaraj and Prof. S.S. Malini, Head, Genetics and Genomics Department will participate.
Dr. Pratibha K.P., Dr. Chaitra P.T., Dr. Somanna A.N., Koushik Ponnanna C.S., Lakshmi K and research students will participate in the discussion.
