COVID causes serious concern in India again: 90,928 new cases reported in 24 hours

New Delhi, January 6, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The number of COVID cases is increasing in the country constantly causing a concern. 90,928 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours across the country.
According to the information provided by the Union Health Ministry, the total number of Corona cases has increased to 3,51,09,286. The percentage of cases increased by 56.5% than yesterday. 325 persons have lost their lives at the same time, increasing the tally to 4,82,876. The positivity rate has increased to 6.43% and the number of active cases has increased to 2,85,401.
The number of people who recovered and were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours is 19,206. The total number of people who have recovered has increased to 3,43,41,009.
The number of Omicron cases has also increased to 2630, out of them, 955 persons have recovered. While there are 797 Omicron cases in Maharashtra, there are 465 cases in Delhi and 204 in Gujarath.
