ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜೂ.27, 2019 : (www.justkannada.in news) : ಪ್ರಾಣಿ ವಿನಿಮಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಡಿ ಸಿಂಗಪೂರ ಮೃಗಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಚಿಂಪಾಂಜಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಮೃಗಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಿಂಹಗಳು ಮೈಸೂರು ಮೃಗಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿವೆ.
ಮೃಗಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಂಟಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿಸುವಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅನುಮೋದಿತ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಠಗೊಳಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ ವಿನಿನಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಡಿ ಸಿಂಗಪೂರ ಮೃಗಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಚಿಂಪಾಂಜಿ ಜೂ. 23 ರಂದು ಮೈಸೂರು ಮೃಗಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದೆ.
ಸುಮಾರು 14 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ರ್ಹಾ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಚಿಂಪಾಂಜಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಅದನ್ನು ದಿಗ್ಬಂಧನ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿರಿಸಿ ನಿಗಾವಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ಮೃಗಾಲಯದಿಂದ ರಾಣಿ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಒಂದು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಸ್ಲಾತ್ ಕರಡಿಯನ್ನು ಜೂ.26 ರಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಮಾನ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಿಂಗಪೂರ ಮೃಗಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮುಂದುವರೆದು, ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮೃಗಾಲಯ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅನುಮೋದನೆಯಡಿ, ಗುಜರಾತಿನ ಸಕ್ಕರ್ಬಾಗ್ ಮೃಗಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಎರಡು ಜೊತೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಿಂಹ ಜೂ. 26 ರಂದು
ಮೈಸೊರು ಮೃಗಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಜೊತೆ ಸಿಂಹಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬನ್ನೇರುಘಟ್ಟ
ಜೈವಿಕ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮೃಗಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಂಡ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಚಿಂಪಾಂಜಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಂದು ಜೊತೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಿಂಹ ಮೃಗಾಲಯ ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆಂದು ದೇಶವಿದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ಬರಲಿರುವ ವೀಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೃಗಾಲಯದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Arrival of a female Chimpanzee from Singapore Zoo and Asiatic
Lions to Mysuru Zoo under animal exchange programme In order to pair single animals and to enrich approved animal collection plan,
Mysuru Zoo has received a female Chimpanzee on 23/6/2019 from Singapore Zoo under
animal exchange programme. About 14 years old Chimpanzee named Rah has been kept in
Quarantine enclosure under observation. Mysuru Zoo in turn has exported a female Sloth
Bear named Rani to Singapore Zoo on 26/6/2019 through Bengaluru Airport.
Further, as per the approval of Central Zoo Authority of India two pairs of Asiatic Lions are received from Sakkarbaug Zoo, Junagadh, Gujarat on 26/6/2019 and out of this,
one pair is shifted to Bannerghatta Biological Park, Bengaluru. Visitors from all over the country as well as abroad will be attracted by above added species to Mysuru Zoo animal collection. Mysuru Zoo management takes this opportunity to convey the gratitude to the concerned authorities/persons for their active & timely support and cooperation for the above animal collection programme.
