ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ, ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ದಿಕ್ಸೂಚಿ ಅಂತಾ ವಿಪಕ್ಷಗಳು ಹೇಳೋದು ಸಹಜ. ಆಗಾದ್ರೆ ಸಿಂದಗಿ ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ದಿಕ್ಸೂಚಿ ಅಂತಾ ಹೇಳಬಹುದೇ..? ದಿಕ್ಸೂಚಿ ಸಿಂದಗಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಬೇಕು. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ 31 ಸಾವಿರ ಅಂತರದಿಂದ ಸೋತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೊದಲು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅದನ್ನ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ ಎಂದು ಟಾಂಗ್ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಸಿಎಂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಂಜನಗೂಡು ಗುಂಡ್ಲುಪೇಟೆ ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆದ್ಧರು. ನಂತರ ಒಂದೇ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋತರು. ನಂತರ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಸೋತರು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆ ಸಾರ್ವತ್ರಿಕ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ದಿಕ್ಸೂಚಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳೋದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
ಬಿಟ್ ಕಾಯಿನ್ ಆರೋಪಪಟ್ಟಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ, ವಿಪಕ್ಷಗಳು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿವೆ. ದಾಖಲೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಿ. ನಾವು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ಶೀಟ್ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದರು.

Bengaluru, November 3, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “The Hanagal and Sindhagi byelection results will not affect our government in any way. It is not an index for the next elections,” opined Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking about the byelection results today, he expressed his view that it is quite common for the opposition parties to contend that the byelection results are an index for future elections. “The can we call the Sindhagi byelection results as a foundation for the next elections…? The index should start from Sindhagi itself. Congress has lost with a huge margin of 31,000 votes. Let them learn from it,” he said.
“When Siddaramaiah was the Chief Minister, the party won in the Nanjangud byelections. But they lost at the same place within one year. They tasted defeat even in the next elections. Hence, the byelection is not an index for the universal elections,” he said.
