ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 23, 2023 (www.justkannada.in): ತಮ್ಮ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಲು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯರವರೂ ಕಾರಣರು ಎಂಬ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಿ, ಕುಣಿಯಲಾರದವರು ನೆಲಡೊಂಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವಂತೆ ತಮಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದ ಕಾರಣ , ಬೇರೆಯವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆರೋಪವನ್ನು ಹೊರಿಸಿರುವುದು ನಿರರ್ಥಕ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಕಿತ್ತೂರು ರಾಣಿ ಚೆನ್ನಮ್ಮನವರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಗೆ ಮಾಲಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಂತರ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ನಾಳೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಚಾಮುಂಡೇಶ್ವರಿ ದೇವಿ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ, ನಂದಿಕಂಬದ ಪೂಜೆ, ಪಂಜಿನ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ದಸರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವರು, ಶಾಸಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ತೆರಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಟೀಕಿಸಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಿ, ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಲು ತೆರಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವರು ವೆಸ್ಟ್ ಎಂಡ್ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಕಾರಣವನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ತಿಳಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ವಸತಿಗೃಹವನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿಸಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಅವರ ಟೀಕೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪನವರೂ ಕಾವೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡೆಯತನಕ ವಾಸವಿದ್ದರು. ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ವಸತಿಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ವಾಸವಿದ್ದೆ. ನಾನು ವಾಸವಿದ್ದ ವಸತಿಗೃಹ ಮೀಸಲಾದ ವಸತಿಗೃಹವಲ್ಲ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಬೇಕಾದರೂ ವಾಸವಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂದರು.

Replying to the comments about not vacating the quarters, Yediyurappa was staying there till the end. I was staying there as Minister George, to whom the quarters was allotted, let me stay there. Kaveri is not a designated quarters to Chief Minister, he clarified.
