ತುಮಕೂರು,ಆಗಸ್ಟ್,25,2022(www.justkannada.in): ಲಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಯೂಸರ್ ನಡುವೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಭೀಕರ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಸಾವನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದು ನಾಲ್ಕುಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರು ಗಂಭೀರ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ತುಮಕೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಶಿರಾ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕಳ್ಳಂಬೆಳ್ಳ ಹೋಬಳಿಯ ಬಾಲೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗೇಟ್ ಬಳಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ರಾಯಚೂರು ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕ್ಯೂಸರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಲಾರಿ ನಡುವೆ ಈ ಭೀಕರ ಅಪಘಾತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದು ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತುಮಕೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವರಿಷ್ಠಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಳ್ಳಂಬೆಳ್ಳ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿರಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

9 die, 4 injured in mishap between lorry and cruiser
Tumakuru, August 25, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Nine people lost their lives and more than four persons sustained grievous injuries in an accident between a truck and a cruiser vehicle near the Balenahalli gate, in Kallamballa Hobli, Sira Taluk, Tumakuru District.
The cruiser vehicle which was coming from Raichur towards Bengaluru hit head on against a truck. Tumakuru Police Superintendent visited the spot, along with Kallamballa and Sira police and are investigating. A case has been registered.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced Rs. 2 lakh compensation for the families of all the deceased and Rs. 50,000 to the injured.
The Kallamballa police started checking all the cruiser vehicles moving towards Bengaluru as a precautionary measure.
