ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ,14,2026 (www.justkannada.in): ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೂ ಹೊಸ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳಿರುತ್ತವೆ. ಹೊಸ ಆಲೋಚನೆ, ಭರವಸೆ, ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಜನರ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಗಳಿಸುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ. ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಸಕರು, ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಶಾಸಕರು, ನಾಯಕರು, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟದ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಟೀಮ್ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸದನಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು “ಜೂನ್ 3ರಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಖರ್ಗೆ, ಸೋನಿಯಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ, ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ, ಕೆ ಸಿ ವೇಣುಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ರಣದೀಪ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಸುರ್ಜೆವಾಲ ಅವರು ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿ 139 ಶಾಸಕರ ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನನ್ಮನ್ನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅನೇಕ ನಾಯಕರು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಕಳೆದ 3 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಸಿಎಂ ಆಗಿ ನಾನು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಆಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆವು. ಇದು ಅದರ ಮುಂದುವರಿದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ” ಎಂದರು.
224 ಶಾಸಕರೂ ನನಗೆ ಒಂದೇ
ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೇ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೂ ನಾವು ಒಪ್ಪಬೇಕು. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ನನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಅವಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ 224 ಶಾಸಕರೂ ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೇ. ನಾನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಆಸೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದ ಸಿಎಂ
ಕಂಠಿ ಅವರ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರವರೆಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮುತ್ಸದ್ಧಿಗಳು ಕಡಿದಾಳು ಮಂಜಪ್ಪ, ಕೆಂಗಲ್ ಹನುಮಂತಯ್ಯ, ದೇವರಾಜ ಅರಸು, ಗುಂಡೂರಾವ್, ನಿಜಲಿಂಗಪ್ಪ, ಬಿಡಿ ಜತ್ತಿ, ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಹೆಗಡೆ, ವೀರೇಂದ್ರ ಪಾಟೀಲ್, ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ, ವೀರಪ್ಪ ಮೋಯ್ಲಿ, ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು, ಎಸ್ ಎಂ ಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಧರಂ ಸಿಂಗ್, ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ, ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ, ಸದಾನಂದ ಗೌಡರು, ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟರ್, ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ಆಡಳಿತ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಡಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾನು ಯಾರನ್ನು ಟೀಕೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
“ ಜೆಎಚ್ ಪಟೇಲರ ಹೃದಯ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತಿಕೆ ಬಹಳ ದೊಡ್ಡದು. ಬೇರೆಯವರ ಒತ್ತಡದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಬಂಧಿಸುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಬಂದಾಗ, ನೀವು ಹೊರಗಡೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಾಜಕೀಯಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಸಕನನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು.
“ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಏನೇ ಇದ್ದರು ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರಲಿ. ನನಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಂದೇ. ಹಳೆಯದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮರೆತು, ಹೊಸ ಪಯಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗೋಣ. ಇಡಿ ಪ್ರಪಂಚ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮುಖೇನ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ, ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಬೇರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದರು.
“ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನ ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಇದೇ ಎರಡನೇ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಒಣ ಭೂಮಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ. ನಾವು ನೀರಿನ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಡಿದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಕೃಷಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡಲು ಅನೇಕ ನೀರಾವರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸರ್ವಜನಾಂಗದ ಶಾಂತಿಯ ತೋಟ. ಇದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ 2 ಲಕ್ಷ ವಿದೇಶಿ ಪಾಸ್ ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ದಾರರು, 500 ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ 480 ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು, ಅದರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾವೇರಿ ತಾಯಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನೀರು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಬಂದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ಪರಿಸರ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
“ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎರಡು ಹಾಗೂ ಮೂರನೇ ಹಂತದ ನಗರಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ 13,940 ವೈದ್ಯರನ್ನು ತಯಾರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್, ಡಾಕ್ಟರ್ ಗಳು ಹೊರಗಡೆ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಫೋರ್ನಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ 13ಲಕ್ಷ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಗಳಿದ್ದರೆ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ 26 ಲಕ್ಷ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಗಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಉಪನಗರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ನಾವು ಹೊಸ ಯೋಜನೆ, ರಿಂಗ್ ರಸ್ತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು ನೈಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆಗೆ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು. ಅವರು ಈ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಟೀಕೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ರಸ್ತೆನೇ ಇಲ್ಲವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಏನಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಸರಿ ಮಾಡೋಣ. ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ರೈತರಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಮಂಡಿಸಿ, ಅನ್ನದಾತರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು.
“ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಹಸಿವಿನಿಂದ ಜನ ಕಂಗಾಲಾಗಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಅನ್ನಭಾಗ್ಯ ಯೋಜನೆ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾರಾಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಅರಸು ಅವರು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಯೋಜನೆ, ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದ ಐಟಿ ಬಿಟಿ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಪುಟ ಸೇರಿದೆ. ನೆಹರೂ ಅವರ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲ ನಾಯಕರು ಪಕ್ಷಾತೀತವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ವಿರೋಧ ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ
”ಸಭಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ಪೀಠ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ಥಾನವಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರು ಈ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹೊರತು ಅವರನ್ನೇ ಸಭಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ಪೀಕರ್ ಆದವರು ಪಕ್ಷಾತೀತತರು. ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮಾತಿಗೂ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಬೇಕು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದವರು ವಿರೋಧ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಸಭಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ವಿರೋಧ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಅವರ ಘನತೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
“ಮುಂದಿನ 25 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹಸಿರು ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ನೀರಿನ ಪೋಲು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಿ ಕೃಷಿಗೆ ಬಳಸಬೇಕು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ರೈತರ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಆಸರೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು. ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ, ಹೈನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ರೈತರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ಜನರು, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ವಲಸೆ ಬರುವುದನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ಸಿಎಸ್ಆರ್ ನಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮೀಸಲಿಡಲು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ 10 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕಮಿಷನರ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಇಂದು 1.50 ಕೋಟಿ ಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ದಕ್ಷತೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ರಾತ್ರಿ 2 ಗಂಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಿರ್ಭೀತವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಓಡಾಡಿದರೂ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಡ್ರಗ್ಸ್ ಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಬೈರೇಗೌಡರು ಕಂದಾಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇ ಖಾತೆ, ಬಿ ಟು ಎ ಖಾತಾ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಇರುವುದೇ ಜನರಿಗಾಗಿ. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ನೌಕರರು ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಅಶೋಕ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆವತ್ತೇ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆ
“ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮಗೆ ಯಾರ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಉರಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಯಾರ ವಿರುದ್ಧವೂ ಈ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ದುರುಪಯೋಗ ಮಾಡಿ ತೊಂದರೆ ನೀಡಲು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಅಶೋಕ್ ಅವರು ಇದೇ ಸದನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಾಗ, ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆ. ಧೈರ್ಯಶಾಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಬಹುಮತ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ನಾವು 136 ಜನ ಒಂದೇ ಎಂದು ಅಂತ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆ. ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಸಾಬೀತುಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾವು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಅಂತಿಮ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಜನ ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
2028ರ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಎದುರಿಸುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ, ನಾನು ಫುಟ್ಬಾಲ್ ಆಡುವವನಲ್ಲ, ಚೆಸ್ ಆಡುವವನು
“2028ರ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಎದುರಿಸಬೇಕು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಾನು ಫುಟ್ಬಾಲ್ ಆಡುವವನಲ್ಲ, ಚೆಸ್ ಆಡುವವನು. ಜನರ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬಹುದು, ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದವರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಬಹುದು. ಜನರು ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹಿತ ಕಾಪಾಡಲು. ಸಭಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ, ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿರುವ ಟಿ ಬಿ ಜಯಚಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ಹಿರಿಯರು. ಆ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮಹಿಮೆ ದೊಡ್ಡದು. ಅದನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರು ಸಿಎಂ ಆದರು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟರ್ ಅವರು ಸಿಎಂ ಆದರು. ಖಾದರ್ ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತು ಈಗ ಡಬಲ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಧಮಾಕದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಭರವಸೆಯಿಂದ ಇರೋಣ” ಎಂದರು.
“ಈ ಸದನಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಚಿವರನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದವರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಸೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಟಿವಿ ಮೂಲಕ ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರಬಹುದು” ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಚಿವರನ್ನು ಸದನಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು.
ನನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಯಾರ ವಿರುದ್ಧಯೂ ಬಳಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ
“ನಾವು ಇಷ್ಟೂ ಜನ ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೂ ದ್ವೇಷ ಮಾಡದೇ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕಾಂಗ, ಕಾರ್ಯಾಂಗ, ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ, ಪತ್ರಿಕಾರಂಗ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸಚಿವರನ್ನು ನಾವು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನೀರಾವರಿ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ್ ಜೋಷಿ ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸಹಕಾರವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಖಾತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನರಿಗೆ 25 ಸಾವಿರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಬಹುದು. ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡೋಣ. ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಆದರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಿನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವುದು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ? ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಬೇಸರ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ನಾನು ಸಿದ್ಧ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಗೆಳೆಯರನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸುವ ಆಸೆ
“ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಎರಡನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಬಹುದು. ಒಂದು ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಿತ್ರರು ಅಥವಾ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶತ್ರುಗಳು. ನಾನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವೆ. ನನ್ನ 40 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ರಾಜಕೀಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳು ಬೀಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದು, ನನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ಅನುಭವದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಈ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಮಾಜದ ಕಟ್ಟ ಕಡೆಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೂ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತಾಗಬೇಕು. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು 8 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಭಾಗ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Shivakumar.
Speaking in the Legislative Assembly on Friday after introducing his Cabinet colleagues to the House, Shivakumar said:
“On June 3, our party President Mallikarjun Kharge, Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, K.C. Venugopal, and Randeep Singh Surjewala held discussions and, with the support of 139 MLAs, placed me in this position. In the past, many leaders have served as the Chief Minister of the state. For the last 3 years, Siddaramaiah worked as the CM and I worked as the DCM. This is a continuation of that government,” he said.
All 224 MLAs Are Equal to Me
“In a democratic system, we must accept whatever decision the people make in an election. However, with the opportunity given to me now, all 224 MLAs are equal in my eyes. Sitting in this position, my wish is to take everyone along together,” he said.
CM Remembers All Past Chief Ministers of the State
“From the time of SR Kanthi up to Siddaramaiah, we have seen the administration of many political stalwarts—Kadidal Manjappa, Kengal Hanumanthaiah, Devaraj Urs, Gundu Rao, Nijalingappa, B.D. Jatti, Ramakrishna Hegde, Veerendra Patil, Bangarappa, Veerappa Moily, Deve Gowda, S.M. Krishna, Dharam Singh, Yediyurappa, Bommai, Sadananda Gowda, Jagadish Shettar, and Siddaramaiah. Everyone has contributed to the state in their own way. I will not criticize anyone,” he stated.
“J.H. Patel’s generosity was immense. Recalling an incident when he came under pressure from others to arrest me”, the CM remembered how Patel had said: ‘Do your politics outside; I will not arrest an MLA for your politics.’”
“Whatever our politics may be, let it remain on the streets. Everyone is equal to me. Let us forget the past and move forward on a new journey. The entire world looks at India through Bengaluru and Karnataka. The knowledge, talent, human resources, and natural wealth we possess are not found in other states,” he said.
“Apart from Rajasthan, this is the second-largest arid state. We are fighting with other states over water issues. We have implemented several irrigation projects to boost agriculture, and we will continue to do so. Bengaluru is a peaceful garden for all communities. It welcomes people of all kinds. Over 200,000 foreign passport holders and 480 out of the top 500 prestigious companies—along with their executives—reside here. Mother Cauvery provides water to everyone. We are offering quality education, healthcare, and a clean environment to all who come here,” he said.
“As Bengaluru grows, we also need to develop tier-2 and tier-3 cities in the state. Our state produces 13,940 doctors every year. The finest engineers and doctors from here are serving across the globe. While California has 1.3 million engineers, Bengaluru has 2.6 million engineers. For this reason, we need to develop satellite towns. We are launching new projects and ring roads. Deve Gowda signed off on the NICE Road project. He may face criticism over it, but had that road not existed, imagine Bengaluru’s situation today. If any injustice occurred in that project, let us correct it. Kumaraswamy signed it with good intentions. Yediyurappa presented a separate budget for farmers and contributed to the food providers,” he recalled.
“The Anna Bhagya scheme introduced by Siddaramaiah so that people wouldn’t suffer from hunger shines in the pages of history. The schemes given by Urs, the IT-BT revolution during S.M. Krishna’s time—all these have become part of history. From the era of Nehru until today, all leaders across party lines have worked in their own way for the country’s progress.”
Opposition’s Protest Is Not Right
“The Speaker’s chair is not a personal seat. Our party leaders recommended candidates for this position; they did not unilaterally declare the Speaker. The opposition leaders are protesting against this. Whoever becomes Speaker is above party lines and must listen to everyone. Therefore, the opposition should have participated in the Speaker’s election instead of protesting. Protesting does not suit their dignity,” he opined.
“In the next 25 years, we must turn the state into a green state, prevent water wastage, and utilize it for agriculture. We must support the livelihood of every farmer. Horticulture and dairy farming serve as alternate economies for farmers. To prevent rural children and families from migrating to cities for education, our government has decided to reserve CSR funds specifically for primary education in rural areas. Earlier in Bengaluru, there was one Police Commissioner for 1 million people; today, the population is 15 million. Our police department is working efficiently, ensuring safety even when women step out without fear at 2:00 AM. We have taken measures to make the state drug-free. The revolutionary decisions taken by Krishna Byre Gowda in the Revenue Department serve as a model for the country. We are providing E-Khata and B-to-A Khata transitions. We have delivered our guarantees. Our government exists for the people. Government employees have come forward to give up guarantee scheme benefits, and we congratulate them on behalf of the government,” he said.
I Told R. Ashoka That Day
“In a democracy, we cannot work by ignoring the Opposition Leader. We harbor no jealousy toward anyone. I do not wish to misuse this power to trouble anyone. When Ashoka spoke in this very House regarding power, I said one thing: a courageous individual can secure a majority. I said that all 136 of us, including Siddaramaiah, are united. I have proven that. We will fight together, and the people will decide the ultimate result,” he stated.
I Know How to Face the 2028 Elections; I Am Not a Football Player, I Am a Chess Player
“I know how to face the 2028 elections. I am not a football player; I am a chess player. When serving the people, everyone must work together. No one here is permanent. We may go to the opposition, and the opposition may come here. People have elected all of us to protect the state’s interests. T.B. Jayachandra, sitting in the Speaker’s chair, is a senior leader. The dignity of that seat is great. S.M. Krishna, who occupied it, became CM; Jagadish Shettar, who sat there, became CM. Khader sat there and is now sitting here with double department responsibilities. Let us all remain hopeful,” he said.
“We wished to introduce our ministers to the opposition in this House, but they are not here. They might be watching this on TV,” he said as he introduced his ministers to the House.
I Will Not Use My Position Against Anyone
“All of us will work for the state’s interest without harboring hatred toward anyone. In a democracy, the Legislature, Executive, Judiciary, and Press must work together. We want to take Union Ministers into confidence and work with them. We appreciate the cooperation given by Pralhad Joshi regarding irrigation issues. Furthermore, Kumaraswamy holds a major portfolio in the Central Government. He can create 25,000 jobs for the people of the state. Wherever he asks for land, let us provide it. After all, providing employment to our people is what matters most, right? Regardless of any misgivings he may have toward me, I am ready to work with him,” he stated.
Desiring to Win More Friends
“In power, we can earn two things: either many friends or many enemies. I want to win more friends and help everyone. I will take everyone along. Having seen ups and downs in my 40 years of politics, I have developed new perspectives based on my experience. My position must benefit the person at the very bottom of society. I will continue the welfare schemes provided by Siddaramaiah over his 8 years,” he said.

Speaking after the election of G.S. Patil as the Assembly Speaker, the Chief Minister said, “First, I congratulate T.B. Jayachandra. He has been an MLA since 1978 and assisted in your election as the Pro-tem Speaker. As for U.T. Khader, he tried to give a new look to the Assembly during his 3-year tenure, leaving his mark by running the House past midnight. I congratulate him on behalf of all of us.”
