ನವದೆಹಲಿ, ಜುಲೈ,30,2026 (www.justkannada.in): ಕಾವೇರಿ ನೀರಿನ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಬರುವ ಭಾನುವಾರ (ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 2) ಗೃಹ ಕಚೇರಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವಪಕ್ಷ ಸಭೆ ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು, ಕಾವೇರಿ ಜಲಾನಯನ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಸಂಸದರು, ಶಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ದೆಹಲಿಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು, ಇಂದು ಕಾವೇರಿ ನೀರು ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ (CWMA) ಮುಂದೆ ಮೇಲ್ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂದೆ ಈ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸರ್ವಪಕ್ಷ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಈ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಸಂಸದರು, ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ್ ಜೋಷಿ, ಸೋಮಣ್ಣ, ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟರ್, ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಅವರು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಮೀರಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರ ಬದಲು ದೆಹಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಂದು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಸಿಎಂ ವಿಜಯ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಡಿಎಂಕೆ ನಾಯಕ ಅನ್ಬುಮಣಿ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಆ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮಗೆ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಕಿತ್ತಾಟ ಮಾಡಲು ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ. ನೆಲದ ಕಾನೂನು ಇದೆ. ನಾವು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇಡೀ ದೇಶ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ಕುರಿತು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕರ ಟೀಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, “ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪನವರು ಕೂಡ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ರಚನೆ ಮಾಡದೇ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ? ಆಗ ಅಪ್ಪ-ಮಗ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದು ಮರುಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು.

New Delhi, July 30:
Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar said that an all-party meeting regarding the Cauvery water issue has been convened this coming Sunday (August 2) at the home office ‘Krishna’.
Responding to queries from media in Karnataka Bhavan here today, he said that, Former Chief Ministers of the state, MPs, and MLAs from the Cauvery basin region have been invited.
He stated, “Today, an appeal has been filed before the Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA), and we will discuss how to take this matter forward in the all-party meeting. We have discussed this issue with MPs and Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi, V. Somanna, Jagadish Shettar, and Basavaraj Bommai, and they are making utmost efforts for the welfare of the state.”
When asked about Tamil Nadu CM Vijay being advised to approach the Union government instead of Karnataka, he replied, “I will not comment on that matter. We have no interest in fighting with each other. There is a law of the land. We must respect one another. The entire country must work together.
When asked about BJP leaders’ criticism regarding the cabinet expansion, he counter-questioned, Didn’t Yediyurappa also run the administration without forming a cabinet? Didn’t the father-son duo enjoy power back then?”
