ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಜುಲೈ, 21,2026 (www.justkannada.in): ಗೂಗಲ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ(ವಿಟಿಯು) ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ, ಪ್ಲೇಸ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೇಶದ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಸರ್ಚ್ ಎಂಜಿನ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಗೂಗಲ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಜತೆಗೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಒಪ್ಪಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಈ ಒಪ್ಪಂದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಟಿಯು ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ಯೂಸ್ಪೈಡರ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಹೊಟೇಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ(ವಿಟಿಯು) ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಎಸ್.ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಂಕರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಲಸಚಿವ(ಆಡಳಿತ) ಪ್ರೊ.ಪ್ರಸಾದ ಬಿ.ರಾಂಪುರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗೂಗಲ್ ಫಾರ್ ಎಜುಕೇಷನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಸಂಜಯ್ ಜೈನ್ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಒಪ್ಪಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
ಎಐ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ, ಬೋಧಕರಿಗೆ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಕ್ಲೌಡ್ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟಿಂಗ್, ಡೇಟಾ ಸೈನ್ಸ್, ಸೈಬರ್ ಸೆಕ್ಯೂರಿಟಿ, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವುದು, ಉದ್ಯೋಗವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಬೇಕಾದ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಈ ಒಪ್ಪಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಕ್ವಾಲ್ಕಮ್, ಭಾರತ್ ಸ್ಕಿಲ್ ಇನ್ ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಷನ್, ಸೀಲ್ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಜತೆಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಬಳಿಕ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ವಿಟಿಯು ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಎಸ್.ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಂಕರ್, ” ವಿಟಿಯು 220 ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ 3 ಲಕ್ಷ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವಕಾಶಗಳು ಸಿಗಬೇಕಾದಲ್ಲಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳು ಬಯಸುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿರಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಲವಾರು ತರಬೇತಿಗಳ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಗೂಗಲ್ ಕಂಪನಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಜತೆಗೆ ಕೈ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಲಿದೆ. ಇದು ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಗೂಗಲ್ ಫಾರ್ ಎಜುಕೇಷನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಸಂಜಯ್ ಜೈನ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ” ಏಷಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವಾದ ವಿಟಿಯು ಜತೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಿರುವುದು ಖುಷಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೌಶಲ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುವುದು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಬೇಕಾದ ತರಬೇತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ನೀಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಬೋಧಕರಿಗೂ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಮಗು ಸಹ ಎಐ ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಇದನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ತೀರಾ ಕಮ್ಮಿ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನಾವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಬೋಧಕರಿಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ. ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳು ಬಯಸುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್ಇಪಿ ಮತ್ತು ಎಸ್ಇಪಿ ಆಧಾರಿತವಾಗಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಕಲಿಕಾ ಮಾದರಿಗಳಿದ್ದು, ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಿಕೊಡತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಕ್ವಾಲ್ಕಮ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಆಫ್ ಎಕ್ಸನೆಲ್ಸ್: ಕ್ವಾಲ್ಕಮ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಅಂಗ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ಸ್ಟೆಮ್ ಲೋರ್ ಇನೋವೇಟರ್ಸ್ ಎಲ್ಎಲ್ಪಿ ಜತೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಐ, ಪ್ರಾಡೆಕ್ಟ್ ಪ್ರೋಟೋಟೈಪ್, ಎಂಬೆಡೆಡ್ ಸಿಸ್ಟಂ, ಇಂಟರ್ ನೆಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಥಿಂಕ್ಸ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಧೀರ್ಘಕಾಲದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಲು ಈ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಎಡ್ಜ್ ಎಐ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಆಫ್ ಎಕ್ಸನೆಲ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದೆ.
ಭಾರತ್ ಸ್ಕಿಲ್ಸ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಷನ್ ಸಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಹಲವಾರು ಕೌಶಲ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಕೊರ್ಸ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಇದು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದೆ. ಅಂದಾಜು 20 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಂತ ಹಂತವಾಗಿ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಆಫ್ ಎಕ್ಸಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಿದೆ.
ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಕಲಿಕಾ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಸೀಲ್
ಅನುಕರಣೆ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಅನುಭವಜನ್ಯ ಕಲಿಕೆ(Simulation Enabled Experiential Learning- SEEL). ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಇ-ಲರ್ನಿಂಗ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಕಲಿಕಾ ವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆನ್ ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಲಾಗಿನ್ ಆಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್ ವೇರ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಅವಳಡಿಸಲಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್, ಎಂಬಿಎ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪಡೆದ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಇದರ ಸದುಪಯೋಗ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಕ್ಲೌಡ್ನಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಗಿನ್ ಆಗಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಗೇಟ್ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಬೇಕಾದ ಮೆಟಿರಿಯಲ್ ಸಹ ಇದರಲ್ಲೇ ಇದೆ. ಹಳೇಯ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳು, ಮಾಕ್ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಅಧಾರಿತ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಗಳು, ಎಐ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಮಾಕ್ ಸಂದರ್ಶನ, 1,900ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಇಂಟರ್ ಶಿಪ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವೆಬಿನಾರ್ ಗಳು, ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತಜ್ಞರ ಜತೆಗೆ ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.

Skills and employment opportunities for lakhs of students
Bengaluru, July 21: For the first time in history, Google has entered into an academic agreement with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) to provide engineering students with skills, placements, and practical education.
This agreement was signed on Tuesday at a private hotel in collaboration with QSpiders. VTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Vidyashankar, Registrar (Administration) Prof. Prasad B. Rampure, and Sanjay Jain, Head of Google for Education India, signed the MoU.
The purpose of this agreement is to provide training in AI skills, faculty skill development, cloud computing, data science, cybersecurity, and to prepare students for industry requirements and employment opportunities. Similar agreements have also been signed with Qualcomm, Bharat Skills Institute Foundation, and SEEL Company.
Speaking after the signing, VTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Vidyashankar said: “VTU has 220 engineering colleges with 3 lakh students. After completing engineering, students must be ready for immediate employment, aligned with industry needs. This requires multiple training programs. Hence, we have partnered with Google and other companies to emphasize skill education. This will truly benefit engineering students.”
Sanjay Jain, Head of Google for Education India, said: “We are delighted to sign this agreement with VTU, Asia’s largest engineering university. Our aim is not only to provide skill education to students but also to train them for employment opportunities. Faculty members will also receive training. Today even small children use AI, but very few use it effectively. Through this program, we will train both students and faculty to prepare them as per industry requirements. Based on NEP and SEP, we have several learning models that will be introduced.”
Qualcomm Center of Excellence: Qualcomm, through its subsidiary Stem Lore Innovators LLP, has signed an agreement to provide long-term education in AI, product prototyping, embedded systems, and Internet of Things. A Center of Excellence in Edge AI will be established.
Bharat Skills Foundation: An MoU has been signed to provide skill education to students. Several skill-based courses have been introduced. A Center of Excellence will be set up in phases at an estimated cost of ₹20 crore.
Digital Learning Platform SEEL (Simulation Enabled Experiential Learning): Through Mysuru’s e-learning center, an advanced digital learning platform is being launched. Students can log in online and perform lab work. All required software for science and technology will be available. Engineering and MBA students can benefit from this. Since it operates on the cloud, students can log in anytime. Materials for GATE exam preparation, past question papers, mock tests, industry-based courses, AI-powered mock interviews, access to over 1,900 industrial projects and internships, technical webinars, workshops, and expert interactions will be provided.
The signing ceremony was attended by VTU Special Officer Dr. Ajit Padya, VTU Regional Director Dr. H.R. Sudarshan Reddy, and QSpiders CEO Girish Ramanna, among others.
