ಮೈಸೂರು,ಜುಲೈ,4,2026 (www.justkannada.in): ಮೈಸೂರು ದಸರಾದ ಅಂಬಾರಿ ಹೊರುವ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಆನೆ ಅಭಿಮನ್ಯು ದುಬಾರೆ ಆನೆ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮರದ ದಿಮ್ಮಿ ಸಾಗಿಸುವ ವೇಳೆ ಅಪಘಾತಕ್ಕೀಡಾಗಿ ಎಡ ದಂತದ ತುದಿ ಭಾಗ ಮುರಿದಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.

ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ದುಬಾರೆ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಕೆಲಸದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿಮನ್ಯು ಮರದ ದಿಮ್ಮಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ದಂತವು ಮರದ ದಿಮ್ಮಿಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ಕಠಿಣ ವಸ್ತುವಿಗೆ ಬಡಿದು ಎಡಭಾಗದ ದಂತದ ತುದಿ ತುಂಡಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ. ಘಟನೆಯ ಬಳಿಕ ಪಶುವೈದ್ಯರು ಆನೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಗಂಭೀರ ಗಾಯಗಳಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ವರದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅಭಿಮನ್ಯು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆಹಾರ ಸೇವನೆ ಮತ್ತು ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ತೊಂದರೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲ. ದಂತದ ಹೊರಭಾಗದ ಸಣ್ಣ ತುಂಡು ಮಾತ್ರ ಮುರಿದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಆತಂಕಪಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅಭಿಮನ್ಯು ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮೈಸೂರು ದಸರಾ ಜಂಬೂಸವಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಅಂಬಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಗಜಪಡೆಯ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ದಸರಾ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದಿದೆ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ದಂತಭಗ್ನದಿಂದ ದಸರಾ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಎಂದು ಅರಣ್ಯ ಮೂಲಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿವೆ.

Abhimanyu, the famed elephant that has carried the Golden Howdah during Mysuru Dasara, suffered minor damage to his left tusk at the Dubare Elephant Camp.
The incident occurred while he was transporting a wooden log as part of routine camp activities. The tip of the tusk broke after hitting a hard object. Forest officials and veterinarians examined the elephant and confirmed that the injury is minor.
