ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್,8,2022(www.justkannada.in): ಯಶವಂತಪುರ ವೃತ್ತದಿಂದ ಮಲ್ಲೇಶ್ವರಂನ ಮಾರಮ್ಮನ ಗುಡಿ ಸರ್ಕಲ್‌ ವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವೈಟ್ ಟಾಪಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಭರದಿಂದ ಸಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನ.1ರೊಳಗೆ ಮುಗಿಸಲು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಶಾಸಕರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಸಿ ಎನ್ ಅಶ್ವತ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಅವರು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.
ಶನಿವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅವರು, ‘ನಗರದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವಾಹನದ ದಟ್ಟಣೆಯ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮಾರಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಲ್‌ ನಿಂದ ಯಶವಂತಪುರ ವೃತ್ತದವರೆಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಒಂದು ಬದಿಯ ವೈಟ್ ಟಾಪಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಮುಗಿದು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಗ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಬದಿಯಿಂದ ಈ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ’ ಎಂದರು.
ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ನಂಬರ್ 36, 37 ಮತ್ತು 41ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರು ಪೂರೈಕೆಗೆ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ 700 ಮಿಲಿ ಮೀಟರ್ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಕೊಳವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಬಿಇಎಲ್‌ ಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ 300 ಮಿಲಿ ಮೀಟರ್ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಕೊಳವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಕ್ಷಿಪ್ರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಗಿಯಲಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ನಡೆಸುವಾಗ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಪಾದಚಾರಿ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಚಿವರು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಹಿಂದಿನ ಪಾದಚಾರಿ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕೊರಕಲು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಲೋಪದೋಷಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸುಗಮ ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರದ ಜತೆಗೆ ಪಾದಚಾರಿಗಳ ಸುಲಭ ಓಡಾಟಕ್ಕೂ ಅನುಕೂಲಕರ ಫುಟ್‌ಪಾತ್‌ ಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸಲು ಸಚಿವರು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.
ಹೊಸ ಕೊಳವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವಾಗ ಆ ಜಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಮುಚ್ಚುವ ಕಡೆ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಕಲುಷಿತವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗದಂತೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲೂ ಅನಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮಣ್ಣು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಜಯಶಂಕರ್, ಜಲಮಂಡಲಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇತರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು.

Yeshwanthpur-Maramma Circle White Topping works: Instructions to complete within Nov. 1
Bengaluru, October 8, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The white topping works of the road from Yeshwanthpur circle to the Maramammanagudi circle in Malleswaram is going on briskly. However, Malleswaram assembly constituency MLA Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayana, who is also the Higher Education Minister has asked the officers concerned to complete the works within November 1.
He inspected the works today morning. “This road is one among the busiest roads in the city. One side of the white topping works of this road is already completed and has been opened for public use. The works on the other side of the road is in process,” he informed.
He also informed that 700 mm new pipes are being installed in ward No.s 36, 37 and 41 for water supply. Likewise, the work of installing 300 ml pipes that connects BEL is also in process. I have asked the officials concerned to complete the works at the earliest.
During inspection the Minister asked the officers to monitor the quality of the road white topping work and also take measures to provide comfortable footpaths on either sides of the road for smooth pedestrian movement.
BBMP Executive Engineer Jayashankar, Water Board and other department officials accompanied him.
