Why Siddaramaiah and Rahul Gandhi are silent over Satish Jarkiholi’s statement on ‘Hindu’ word? CM Bommai

Udupi, November 8, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): KPCC Working President Satish Jarkiholi recently expressed his view that the word ‘Hindu’ is derived from Persian language and it means obscene. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has severely criticized Satish Jarkiholi’s views.
Speaking in Udupi today, the Chief Minister said that Satish Jarkiholi is not a well-read person. “He is a person with half-knowledge. He has spoken without proper knowledge. His words has insulted the feelings of the entire country. It is nothing but anti-national view,” he alleged.
“He is in a misconception that he will get minorities votes by saying such words. All the people of the state should jointly oppose this. Why is Siddaramaiah and Rahul Gandhi silent over this? Do they agree to Satish Jarkiholi’s views? Moreover Satish is adding fuel to the fire by defending himself,” he observed.
