Vow to build New India: CM Bommai announces at the Yuvajana Mahotsav in Mysuru.

Mysuru, August 11, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): “BJP has vowed to build for the overall development of India in the next 25 years, and a new Bharat will be built,” observed Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
He participated in the Yuvajana Mahotsav organized by the University of Mysore, held at the Maharaja College grounds in Mysuru today. In his address after inaugurating the program, the Chief Minister said, “thousands of unknown or lesser known people have sacrificed their lives to make our country independent. But, there is no reference to them anywhere till now. That is why we have stepped forward to offer our salutes to such unknown freedom fighters. We dedicate this ‘Amruth Mahotsav’ celebrations to them.”
“My salutes to all the soldiers who are protecting our nation on the border, farmers, laborers, teachers, and the youth. The youth should step forward to build the future of our country along with shaping their future. Many people have sacrificed their lives for our independence. We didn’t get independence so easily. Hence, it is the responsibility of all of us to protect it,” he added.
On the occasion, he informed the airport runway in Mysuru is being extended. Other developmental works include renovation of the K.R. Hospital, the establishment of a semi-conductor unit in Mysuru and overall development of Mysuru in terms of tourism are on the cards. More than 35k people have gathered here today. I request you all to hoist the tricolor atop all your houses and hostels, he said.
