Prohibition of taking pictures, and videos in govt. offices had not come to my notice: Will revert it – CM Bommai

Bengaluru, July 16, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today informed that the orders prohibiting taking pictures and videos by visitors to government officials had not come to his notice. “We have withdrawn the orders, and the older rules will continue,” he informed.
Speaking to the press persons in Bengaluru today, the Chief Minister informed that a few visitors to the government officials take pictures and videos of women employees and hence the employees had requested to prohibit it. “Our government is functioning most transparently. However, we have removed the restriction,” he added.i

Replying to a question about rain, the CM explained that he had spoken to the Deputy Commissioners and informed them that measures would be taken immediately to distribute compensation to the victims who lose their houses due to rains. “I have allocated Rs. 500 crores for infrastructure development. Our government is here to help the victims of natural disasters,” he said.
