ಇಂದು ರಾತ್ರಿ 9.30 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಆನ್ ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಸಲಿರುವ ಭಾರತದ ಐದು ತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್ ಐಇ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಹ್ಯಾಕಥಾನ್ (SIH) ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದ ಇನ್ನೋವೇಶನ್ ಸೆಲ್ನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವ್ಯಾಪಿ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಸಚಿವಾಲಯಗಳು, ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳು, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಒತ್ತುವ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸಲು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
SIH-2023 ಅನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದ ಇನ್ನೋವೇಶನ್ ಸೆಲ್, ಆಲ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಫಾರ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಿಕಲ್ ಎಜುಕೇಶನ್ ಮತ್ತು i4c ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಇದನ್ನು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 19 ರಿಂದ 23ರವರೆಗೆ ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು (ಹಾರ್ಡ್ವೇರ್ ವರ್ಗ) ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲು NIE ಅನ್ನು ನೋಡಲ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಂತಿಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ NIE ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ 5 ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು NIE ಡೈಮಂಡ್ ಜುಬಿಲಿ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಕಾಂಪ್ಲೆಕ್ಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಿಡೀ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.

Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi will be interacting with the participants of Smart India Hackathon (SIH 2023) at the National Institute of Engineering, Mysuru
(NIE) today at 9.30 PM online. NIE is one of the five sites of India with whom Prime Minister will be interacting.
Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is a nationwide initiative by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell to provide students a platform to solve the pressing problems of the government, ministries, departments, industries and other organizations. SIH-2023 is jointly organized by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, All India Council for Technical Education, and i4c which is scheduled from December 19-23, 2023.
The Smart India Hackathon 2023 stands as the world’s largest Hackathon, attracting participation from over 58,000 teams. This grand assembly brings together some of the brightest minds from across the nation, all dedicated to collaboratively addressing and solving real-world problems.
NIE has been selected as a Nodal Centre to host this prestigious event (Hardware category). As a nodal center, NIE will play a pivotal role in hosting the finale event, where participating students will engage with problem statements provided by esteemed organizations such as Autodesk, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Coal. This 5-day event will be held at NIE Diamond Jubilee Sports Complex round the clock.
