ನಾನು ಚಾಮರಾಜಪೇಟೆ ಮನೆ ಮಗ. ಯಾರೇ ಬರಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಯಾರನ್ನೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಲಿ . ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯವರು ಯಾರನ್ನೇ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಸರಿ. ನಾನೇ ಗೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಜನರು ನನ್ನನ್ನ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಡ್ತಾರಾ..? ಎಂದು ಜಮೀರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Speaking to the media persons today, Zamir Ahmed Khan said, “let Siddaramaiah contest from Chamarajpet. I invite him to contest from here. I am ready to sacrifice my candidature for him. Siddaramaiah is the son-in-law of Chamarajpet and I am the son of Chamarajpet. If he contests from here, he will definitely win.”
“I belong to here. I will win whoever may contest opposite me here. Let H.D. Kumaraswamy and BJP people field anyone. I will definitely win. Will the people of my constituency disown me?,” he said.
