ಮೈಸೂರು, APRIL.13,2026: ನಗರದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ RTO ಕಚೇರಿಗೆ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯ ನೂರಾರು ಮಂದಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ, ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಕರ್ಯವಾದ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದು ತೀವ್ರ ಆಕ್ರೋಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಯುವಕರಿಂದ ವಯೋವೃದ್ಧರ ತನಕ ವಿವಿಧ ವರ್ಗದ ಜನರು ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಜನರು ತೀವ್ರ ಅನಾನುಕೂಲ ಎದುರಿಸುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕಚೇರಿ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ “ ಶೌಚಾಲಯದ ಸೂಚನಾ ಫಲಕ “ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇದ್ದು, ವಾಸ್ತವದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಬಳಕೆಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಆತಂಕಕಾರಿ ವಿಷಯವೆಂದರೆ, ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ಶೌಚಾಲಯವೂ ನಿಷ್ಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಬೀಗ ಹಾಕಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಪರದಾಡುವ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೊಂದಿರುವವರು ತೀವ್ರ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಒದಗಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ RTO ಹಾಗೂ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಗೋಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ:
ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ, ಸಮೀಪದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಶೌಚಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ.
ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು ಆಡಳಿತದ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ — ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಫಲವಾದರೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮೈಸೂರು ಕೇಂದ್ರ RTO ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದು ಕುರಿತು BJP ಮುಖಂಡ E. C. Ningarajegowda ತೀವ್ರ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
“ನಿತ್ಯ ನೂರಾರು ಮಂದಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುವಂತಹ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವುದು ಆಡಳಿತದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವೈಫಲ್ಯ. ಜನರು ತೊಂದರೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ತೋರಿರುವುದು ಖಂಡನೀಯ,” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮುಂದುವರೆದು, “ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ಶೌಚಾಲಯವೂ ನಿಷ್ಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ದುರಂತ. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು, ವಯೋವೃದ್ಧರು ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೊಂದಿರುವವರು ಸಂಕಷ್ಟ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಆಡಳಿತದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆ,” ಎಂದು ವಾಗ್ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
“ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ RTO ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ಶೌಚಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಬಳಕೆಗೆ ತೆರೆದಿಡಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ BJP ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಅಗತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Mysuru: BJP Leader Reacts to Lack of Toilets at RTO Office
BJP leader E. C. Ningarajegowda slammed authorities over the absence of toilet facilities at the Mysuru central RTO office.
He called it a “complete administrative failure,” noting that hundreds of visitors, including women and senior citizens, are facing hardship daily. He also criticized the nearby municipal toilet being locked and unusable.
Ningarajegowda demanded immediate action to provide basic facilities, warning that BJP will stage a protest if the issue is not resolved quickly.
