ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಆಗಸ್ಟ್,26,2026 (www.justkannada.in): ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಸರಕಾರ ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದ್ದು, ರಾಯಚೂರಿನ ಐಐಐಟಿ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ₹12 ಕೋಟಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟತಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಬೃಹತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅಮೆರಿಕನ್ ಚೇಂಬರ್ ಆಫ್ ಕಾಮರ್ಸ್ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಶಾಖೆಯು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ `ತಯಾರಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆ: ನಾಳಿನ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ’ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತಯಾರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಜತೆಗೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷದ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರರ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಸದ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಸರಕಾರವು ಡೇಟಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಹೊಸ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರ, ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಮತ್ತು 2ನೇ ಸ್ತರದ ನೋಡ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 1 ಗಿಗಾವ್ಯಾಟ್ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ ಡೇಟಾ ಸೆಂಟರುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈಗ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕ್ವಿನ್ ಸಿಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಪ್ರಥಮ ಎಐ ಸಿಟಿ ಕೂಡ ಇರಲಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ 20 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಚಿಪ್ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗಾರರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ `ನಿಪುಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ’ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ 100ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳು ದತ್ತು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿವೆ. 30ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಐ.ಟಿ.ಐ.ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ನೆರವಿನಿಂದ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟತಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಏಷ್ಯನ್ ಡೆವಲಪ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿರುವ 2,500 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿನಿಯೋಗಿಸಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವನ್ನು ಆಧುನೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬೋಯಿಂಗ್, ಜಿಇ ಏರೋಸ್ಪೇಸ್, ಹನಿವೆಲ್, ಅಪ್ಲೈಡ್ ಮೆಟೀರಿಯಲ್ಸ್, ಟಿಮ್ಕೆನ್ ತರಹದ ದೈತ್ಯ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಶೀಲವಾಗಿವೆ. ಇವುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಪ್ರೊಪಲ್ಶನ್ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ಎಐ ಎಂಜಿನ್ ಡಯಾಗ್ನಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ಸ್, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಐಒಟಿ, ಪ್ರಿಸಿಷನ್ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್, ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಸೆಮಿಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಪೂರೈಕೆ ಸರಪಳಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅಗಾಧ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇದು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಏರೋಸ್ಪೇಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ, ಬಯೋಟೆಕ್, ಮಶೀನ್ ಟೂಲ್ಸ್, ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೇ ಅಗ್ರಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ತಲಾವಾರು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ನಾವು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸರಾಸರಿಗಿಂತ ಮುಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಡೀಪ್ ಎ.ಐ. ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆಯು ಈ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಒಂದೆರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಲಿದೆ. ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಎಕನಾಮಿಕ್ ಫೋರಂ ವರದಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಉತ್ಪಾದಕತೆ ಶೇಕಡ 53ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಲಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಸದ್ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

AI Centre of Excellence to be established at Raichur IIIT at Rs 12 crore: M.B. Patil
Bengaluru: The Government will establish an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Centre of Excellence at the IIIT campus in Raichur at a cost of ₹12 crore as part of its efforts to promote comprehensive industrial growth in the State, Large and Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil said on Tuesday.
He was speaking at the conference, ‘AI for Manufacturing: Building a Future-Ready Karnataka’, organised by the Indian chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce.
Miniater Patil urged US companies to expand their manufacturing presence in Karnataka and participate in the Global Investors’ Meet to be held in Bengaluru in April next year. The Government will also shortly introduce a new policy for data centres, under which 1 GW-capacity data centres will be developed in North Bengaluru, Mangaluru and Tier-2 nodes, he said.
India’s first AI City will also be established in the KWIN City currently under development. Karnataka has more than 20,000 chip designers, he said. Under the ‘Nipuna Karnataka’ programme, more than 100 educational institutions are being adopted by industries. More than 30 ITIs are being developed as Centres of Excellence with World Bank assistance, while the higher education sector is being modernised with ₹2,500 crore in assistance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), he added.
Global companies such as Boeing, GE Aerospace, Honeywell, Applied Materials and Timken are active in the State. These companies are driving significant developments in areas such as next-generation propulsion technologies, AI-based engine diagnostics, industrial IoT, precision engineering and the global semiconductor supply chain. These activities are making a substantial contribution to the State’s economy, he explained.
Karnataka is a national leader in aerospace and defence manufacturing, biotechnology, machine tools and electronic design, Mr. Patil said. The State is also ahead of the national average in per-capita industrial output. The adoption of advanced AI technologies will take these strengths to new heights over the next couple of years. According to a World Economic Forum report, artificial intelligence could increase workforce productivity by 53%. Karnataka will make effective use of this potential, he said.
