Mahadevaswamy, who worked as a mason to study, receives 14 gold medals

Mysuru, March 22, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): P. Mahadevaswamy received 14 gold medals and 3 cash prizes at the 102nd Convocation of the University of Mysore, earning respect from many.
P. Mahadevaswamy, is the son of Late Puttabasavaiah and Nagamma, residents of Nagavalli Village, in Chamarajanagara District. He is a PG student in Kannada, from the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar PG Centre. He hails from a very poor family. After his father’s death, his mother and elder brother shouldered all the responsibilities. Mahadevaswamy used to work as a mason and daily wage worker when he was in college. He also had a deep interest in drawings and paintings. He secured 1963 marks out of the total 2200 in MA Kannada. Mahadevaswamy also had secured 2 gold medals and 2 cash prizes in B.Ed., which he completed at the Bhagawan Buddha B.Ed. Education University, Malavalli.
“I have passed the K-Set exams now. I am interested to pursue UPSC or KPSC exams. It will be very helpful for me if I get free IAS and KAS coaching,” he said.
