ಮಂಡ್ಯ,ಮೇ,9,2026 (www.justkannada.in): ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಶ್ರೀರಂಗಪಟ್ಟಣ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಗಂಜಾಂ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಷಕರ ಎಡವಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ 112 ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ತೀವ್ರ ಆತಂಕ ಉಂಟಾದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಟವಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ 3 ವರ್ಷದ ಮಗು ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆತಂಕಗೊಂಡ ಪೋಷಕರು 112ಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಗು ಕಿಡ್ನಾಪ್ ಆಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ದೂರಿನ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿದ 112 ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮಗುವಿಗಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಶೋಧ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ವೇಳೆ ಮನೆಯ ಸೋಫಾದಡಿ ಮಗು ಗಾಢ ನಿದ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮಗು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಖಚಿತವಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಳಿಕ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ತಿಳಿಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಶ್ರೀರಂಗಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ENGLISH SUMMARY
A 3-year-old child, who had fallen asleep under a sofa at home, triggered panic after parents mistakenly reported a kidnap case to the 112 emergency helpline.
The incident took place at Ganjam village in Srirangapatna taluk of Mandya district. Acting on the complaint, 112 police rushed to the spot and searched for the child, only to find the kid sleeping under the sofa.
Police later counselled the parents and advised them to be more careful. The case comes under the limits of Srirangapatna Town Police Station.
