ಮೈಸೂರು ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಬ್ಯಾಗ್ ಖರೀದಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ:  ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ನಿಂದ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಹಸಿರು ನಿಶಾನೆ.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು. ಏ.೦೧,೨೦೨೬:  ಐಎಎಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ರೋಹಿಣಿ ಸಿಂಧೂರಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಬ್ಯಾಗ್ ಖರೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ  ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ  ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಸೆಕ್ಷನ್ 17(ಎ) ಅಡಿ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಅಧೀನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆಡಳಿತ ಸುಧಾರಣಾ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದ್ದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.

ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ವಿವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, 13 ರೂ. ಬೆಲೆಯ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಬ್ಯಾಗ್ ಅನ್ನು 52 ರೂ.ಗೆ ಖರೀದಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಆರೋಪ ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮಾರು 7.55 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ನಷ್ಟ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ದೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಕುರಿತು ವಕೀಲ ರವಿಚಂದ್ರೇಗೌಡ ಎನ್.ಆರ್. ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ರಿಟ್ ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್, ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿತು.

Mysuru: IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri is facing allegations of irregularities in the procurement of cloth bags during her tenure as Mysuru Deputy Commissioner. The High Court has ordered permission for an investigation under Section 17(A), marking a significant development in the case.

The court ( A bench led by Justice M. Nagaprasanna) has directed the Under Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR), to grant approval for the probe. It also quashed the State Government’s earlier decision denying sanction for investigation.
