GP Elections: Brisk voting in Mysuru District

Mysuru, Dec. 22, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): The first phase of Gram Panchayat elections in Mysuru District witnessed brisk voting. People were found exercising their franchise with enthusiasm.
The voting picked up momentum by the afternoon at Veeranahosahalli, Gurupura, and Nagapura haadi. A 95-year-old woman exercised her franchise at Nagapura. Efforts were being made to create awareness among the children about the Covid pandemic at villages in Hunsur Taluk. Sanitizer, thermal screening facilities were arranged at all the booths.
