ಕಳೆದ ವಾರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ ಇಡೀ ದೇಶದ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದಿದ್ದ ಈ ಗಾಂಜ ಪತ್ತೆ, ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಮೈಸೂರು-ಕೊಡಗು ಸಂಸದ ಯದುವೀರ್‌ ವಿಷಯ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವೈಫಲ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಇದೀಗ ಬಹಿರಂಗಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಗಾಂಜ ಜಾಲದ ಮೂಲ ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಮುಂಬೈ.

333 ಕೇಜಿ ತೂಕದ ಗಾಂಜ ತುಂಬಿದ ಒಟ್ಟು 16 ರಿಂದ 17 ಬ್ಯಾಗುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಂಜ “JD-ಕೊರಿಯರ್ ” ಮೂಲಕ ಮುಂಬೈನಿಂದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಕ್ಕೆ ರವಾನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ವರ್ಚಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಕಪ್ಪುಮಸಿ ಬಳಿದಂತಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ತಲೆತಗ್ಗಿಸುವಂತಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಇದೀಗ ಗಾಂಜ ಪತ್ತೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಬೆನ್ನತಿದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪೊಲೀಸರು, ಅದರ ಮೂಲವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮೈಸೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಕಳೆದ ವಾರ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಜಂಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನರಸಿಂಹರಾಜ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಹೊರ ವರ್ತುಲ ಪ್ರದೇಶದದಲ್ಲಿನ ವಾಹನ ಗ್ಯಾರೆಜ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಗಾಂಜ ಸಂಗ್ರಹ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಬಳಿಕ ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಪೈಕಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಆರೋಪಿಗಳು ಮುಂಬೈ ಮೂಲದವರಾದರೆ, ಮತ್ತಿಬ್ಬರು ಮೈಸೂರು ಮೂಲದವರು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಬಹುದು.
