We oppose inclusion of Muslims in OBC category: BJP National OBC Morcha President Lakshmanrao

Mysuru, Dec. 16, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): BJP National OBC Morcha President Lakshman Rao has said they will oppose the inclusion of Muslims in the OBC category.
Addressing a press meet in Mysuru today, he said that the Government of India has contemplated providing 10% reservation to the people who are economically backward of all the communities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government has been giving stress development of the backward castes since when it has come to power in the center. Preference is being given to backward castes as per the recommendations of the Justice Rohini Commission. Special facilities have been extended, especially to the fishing community. “We will implement the Justice Rohini Commission recommendations after conducting a thorough scientific survey across the country and discussing it in the lower and upper houses,” he said.
