Mysuru, January 25, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The University of Mysore had organized a program at the Crawford Hall on Tuesday to observe the ‘National Voters Day.’
Prof. R. Shivappa, Registrar, University of Mysore, gave the oath to all the staff members. Everybody pledged to exercise their franchise without fail.
The Election Commissioner of India was established on January 25, 1950. On January 25, 2011, the Government of India announced to observe January 25th of every year as National Voters’ Day and since then it is being followed. This year we are observing the 12th National Voters’ Day.
