Mysuru gang rape case: Mysuru police escape from getting dimissed

Mysuru, August 31, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Rumours were going on that a few police personnel in Mysuru would lose their jobs following the gang rape case that occurred in Mysuru recently. However, the Mysuru police have escaped from it.
Speaking in Mysuru, District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar clarified that no police personnel would be dismissed or suspended. He appreciated the Mysuru city police for cracking the case so soon and hence there was no need for dismissal. At the same, he also advised the Mysuru police to be careful and prevent such cases in the future. He also warned them that stringent action would be taken in case if such incidents recur.
Minister S.T. Somashekar informed that a high power committee meeting would be held in Bengaluru on September 3 regarding the Mysuru Dasara 2021 celebrations and another meeting in Mysuru on September 8.
