IPL 2021 cancelled as players test COVID positive

New Delhi, May 4, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): As a few players tested COVID positive the IPL 2021 tournament has been canceled.
According to Rajiv Shukla, Vice President, BCCI, the tournament has been canceled as the number of Corona cases in the country is constantly increasing. A few players have also tested positive for the COVID-19 Pandemic. Varun Chakravarthy, Andeep Warrier of Kolkatta Night Riders tested positive. As a result, the match between Kolkatta Nightriders and Royal Challengers, Bengaluru that was scheduled to be held on Monday was postponed, following which the decision to canceling the tournament has been announced.Corona –players-Cancel- IPL2021-BCCI
