“CM BSY doesn’t have the strength, spirit and health he had earlier”: H. Vishwanath demands for replacement

Bengaluru, June 17, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa doesn’t have the strength, spirit, and health that he had earlier. Hence, let the party high command replace him with a person with common sense. Let them make a person from the Veerashaiva community as the CM,” said MLC H. Vishwanath.
He spoke with the press persons today in Bengaluru after meeting and discussing with the State BJP Incharge Arun Singh. “I demanded the Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa resign and explained the recent developments that have taken place in State BJP. Arun Singh has considered my words seriously. I am not in favour of anyone, nor against anyone. The people of the State are now talking about the State Government. Family-based politics is demonizing in the state. I have a lot of respect for B.S. Yedyurappa and his struggle in building party in the state. But let them take a suitable decision now keeping in mind the interest of the State,” he said.
“Yedyurappa doesn’t have the strength, spirit, and health now as he had earlier. He has lost the power of leading the state as CM now. He has already spoken about resignation. He has told that he is ready to resign if the party high command demands. Hence, let him continue as a mentor. Let a person belonging to the Veerashaiva community be made as the Chief Minister, especially from the Panchamasali community,” he added.
Further, he said three MLAs are belonging to the Panchamasali community, Murugesh Nirani, Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, Aravind Bellad. “Let them make any of them as CM. I am not telling this because I have also shouldered several responsibilities, but I didn’t get a berth in the cabinet.”
