Classes and exams twice in a year for Ph.D. courses

Mysuru, Feb. 24, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The Syndicate meeting of the University of Mysore has approved the proposal to conduct classes and exams twice a year for Ph.D. courses to enable candidates who are pursuing Ph.D. to complete their courses soon.
The syndicate meeting was held in Chamarajanagara. Syndicate member Dr. E.C. Ningarajegowda requested to conduct classes and exams twice a year to help the Ph.D. candidates who have obtained temporary registration to continue their studies soon, and also for the advantage of those who want to get GRF or scholarships. The meeting agreed to this and arrived at this decision.
The course exams of the candidates who are selected for PhD scholarship was held once in 2-3 years causing them a lot of problems to complete the course. Considering the problem, the University Syndicate has approved to conduct the course exams twice a year that is in June and December.
