Actor Yash responds to Transport Dept. employees letter seeking his support for their protest
Bengaluru, Apr. 15, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The ongoing protest of the Transport Department employees against the State Government demanding implementation of the 6th pay commission today entered the 9th day. In the meantime, the protestors had appealed to renowned Kannada film actor Yash to support them in their protest.
In his response to the letter, the Rocking Star has also written a letter and has posted it on his Twitter handle.
“Let us forget differences and move forward with harmony…! I am aware of the voice of the Transport Department employees who are struggling for justice and the woes of middle-class people who are dependent on buses for their daily commutation and it has been haunting me a lot these days. I have spoken with the Transport Minister Lakshman Savadi regarding this and he has assured me that the government would solve the problem as early as possible.”
“Whatever may be I am today, but I am the son of a Govt. Transport Department ex-employee. I have experienced all your problems. But a problem for another problem is not the solution. Discussions with an open heart only might become a solution,” his letter read.
