ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ,26,2021(www.justkannada.in): ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮತ್ತು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ-ಖಾಸಗಿ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ‘ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಾಯ’ ದ (Help Educate) ಉಪಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೆ 12,500 ಡಿ-ಬಾಂಡೆಡ್ ಡೆಸ್ಕ್‌ಟಾಪ್ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಏರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವರೂ ಆದ ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಾ.ಸಿ.ಎನ್.ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಅವರ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯಂತೆ ಈ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ನಗರ- ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಅಂತರವನ್ನು ಆಳಿಸಿಹಾಕಲು ಈ ಉಪಕ್ರಮ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಲಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ಪತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಅಶ್ವಥ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಸಮಕ್ಷಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ (ಡಿಸಿಟಿಇ), ಕಾಗ್ನಿಜೆಂಟ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿ ಸೊಲ್ಯೂಷನ್ಸ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಪ್ರೈವೇಟ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ವೈಟ್‌ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ (ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ 1390) ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಹಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದೆ.
ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮತ್ತು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಪಿ.ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಗ್ನಿಜಂಟ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ನವೀನ್ ರಾವ್ ಅವರು ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಾ.ಸಿ.ಎನ್. ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ ಅವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವಿನಿಮಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕಲಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವರು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ-ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಡಾ.ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ ಅವರು ಒಪ್ಪಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂಕಿತ ಬಿದ್ದ ನಂತರ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ:
“ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಾಯ” ಮಾಡುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮತ್ತು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಟ್ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದಾನಿಗಳ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಬೋಧಕ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು, ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಬೋಧನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಧುನಿಕ ವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಅಪ್‌ಗ್ರೇಡ್‌ ಆಗಲು ಇದರಿಂದ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಜತೆಗೆ, ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಕಲಿಕೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸರಕಾರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಅಂಶವೂ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಅಶ್ವಥ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
30,000 ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್‌ಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯ:
ಸರಕಾರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 30,000 ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಗಳು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಇದ್ದು, ಆ ಪೈಕಿ ಈಗ 12,500 ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 50 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳ ಯೋಜನೆ ಇದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಧುನಿಕ ಕಲಿಕೆಯತ್ತ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲು, ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ತಾರತಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಿಸುವ ಈ ಉದಾತ್ತ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಸರಕಾರದ ಜತೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಸಂತೋಷ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ದಾನಿಗಳು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲು ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಈ ಉದಾತ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಗ್ನಿಜೆಂಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಪ್ರೈ. ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ 12,500 ಡಿ-ಬಾಂಡೆಡ್, ಡೆಸ್ಕ್‌ಟಾಪ್ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಸ್ವಯಂ ಪ್ರೇರಿತವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಬಳಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಇನ್ನೂ ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್‌ನವರು ವಿಂಡೋಸ್ ಓಎಸ್ ಒದಗಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿತ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಅಶ್ವಥ್ ನಾರಯಣ್ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
ಕಾಗ್ನಿಜೆಂಟ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ನವೀನ್ ರಾವ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ; “ಕಾಲೇಜು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಈ ನಿರ್ಣಾಯಕ ಉಪಕ್ರಮದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿದೆ. ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಕಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾದದ್ದು” ಎಂದರು.
ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಕಲಿಕಾ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಲಿಯುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪೂರಕ. ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಎಂದು ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಗರ್ವನರ್ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಕಾಲೇಜು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ್ ಅವರು ಯೋಜನೆ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕಾಗ್ನಿಜೆಂಟ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ (ಸಿಎಸ್‌ಆರ್) ದೀಪಕ್ ಪ್ರಭು, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹರಿಸಿಂಗ್ ಮುಂತಾದವರು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

12,500 De-Bonded Computers to equip Govt. First Grade Colleges; MoU inked
Bengaluru: The government first-grade colleges of the state will be provided with 12,500 De-Bonded desktop computers as part of the ‘Help Educate’, a public-private initiative taken up by the department of collegiate and technical education.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed on Friday wherein the Department of Collegiate Education and Technical Education (DCTE), Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt Ltd, and the Rotary Club Whitefield Central, District 1390, Bengaluru have signed.
The initiative has the prime objective of facilitating the learning of students of Government First Grade Colleges and make a difference in the learning of students, most of whom hail from a socio-economically marginalized background.
Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan, Deputy Chief Minister who also holds Higher Education portfolio said, “Under ‘Help Educate’ initiative the Department of Collegiate and Technical Education has been partnering with MNCs and Philanthropists to educate and train students for employment, train professors in Modern Methodology through Faculty Development programs and Digital Teaching and also equip Government Colleges with Digital assets to adopt digital learning which is both a recent trend and also an inviolable necessity of times”.
Narayana told, “The government colleges need around 30,000 computers and now 12,500 computers have been provided. This contribution worth about Rs. 50 crores would help to fill the digital divide of the students.” He also expressed hope that many more MNCs would toe the lines traced by the above-mentioned two exemplary organizations.
As part of the initiative, Cognizant India Pvt. Ltd has volunteered to provide 12,500 de-bonded, Desktop Computers, to the Department, which in turn will be distributed among all the Government First Grade Colleges to establish computer Labs for the use of students. Rotary Club, Bangalore which has offered to install Windows OS & Office 365 and transport and install these Desktops to respective destinations.
Mr Naveen Rao, Cognizant Bangalore center head said, that the company feels honored to be a part of this crucial initiative led by the Department of Collegiate Education. He further informed Under the “Digital Inclusion” initiative of Cognizant Outreach, an employee-led volunteering program, the company has been supporting schools, educational institutions, community libraries, and other institutions across India with computer infrastructure to help them tide over the disruption by adopting digital learning.
Rtn. Nagendra Prasad, Governor, District 1390 expressed confidence, that the initiative would lend steadfast support to students of Government First Grade Colleges to benefit adequately from the Karnataka LMS-based Digital Learning.
