Development of Hebbal lake: Minister S.T. Somashekar thanks Dr. Sudhamurthy

Mysuru, Feb. 13, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Minister for Cooperation and Mysuru District In-charge S.T. Somashekar thanked Dr. Sudhamurthy, Head of the Infosys Foundation for her contribution in developing the Hebbal lake in Mysuru as a model lake and informed that Dr. Sudharmurthy would be felicitated.
Minister S.T. Somashekar visited Hebbal lake on the outskirts of Mysuru city today. The lake is spread in an area of 54 acres of land with a 2.2 km circumference. It has been developed by the Infosys Foundation under its CSR activity, at an estimated cost of Rs. 105 crore.
On the occasion, he informed that efforts will be made to develop all the other parks and tanks in the city wherever CSR funds are available.
“Concerning the encroachments of tanks I have spoken to Minister Madhuswamy and has assured to visit before the State Budget. He will take a proper decision after going through all the points and he will only give orders,” he added.
The Minister also called upon Infosys Foundation Head Dr. Sudhamurthy from the spot and thanked her wholeheartedly on behalf of the people of Mysuru, for all the cooperation. He also informed that a program would be held where she will be felicitated.
