Congress is the Gangotri of corruption: We don’t have to learn lessons from them – CM Bommai

Bengaluru, May 7, 2022 ( Responding to Congress MLA Priyank Kharge’s charges that the Vidhana Soudha has turned into a ‘Business Soudha,’ Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today said that the Congress is the Gangotri of corruption. “Priyank Kharge is a pure congress politician and corruption is deep-rooted in him. Speaking to the press persons, in Bengaluru today, the Chief Minister expressed his view that the BJP people don’t have to learn how to run the government, from Congress. “I don’t have to tell anything about Priyank Kharge. He is in the Congress party for several decades. The people of the state know what is Congress party.”
Responding to a question on the allegations of involvement of influential people behind the PSI case, Basavaraj Bommai said that the government would include the names if the evidence is provided. “Let those who make charges also give evidence. The officials will investigate. The CID officials are investigating the case properly,” he added.
